"Documentary 2.5" er ment som en <i>sequel</i> til The Game's ikoniske "The documentary", der udkom i 2005. Sequels er ikke sjældent en skuffelse, men i dette tilfælde er det lykkedes West Coast-rapperen at lave en ny mastodont, der ikke lader debuten 10 år tidligere meget tilbage. Originaliteten er til at overse, men The Games flow er bedre end nogensinde og musikken er hård og kompromisløs. Årets pop-gangster-hip hop-skive med prominent besøg af blandt andre Kendrick Lamar og Kanye West.
