Furthermore, you can place requests for items at your local library (even if the library does not have the item you want) – you decide which library to contact. You pick up the item from the selected library.

Certain items may be unavailable. Public libraries are not required to make all types of material – such as DVDs and video tapes – available to non-local borrowers. You will see a 'warning' if you view the record of an item that may be unavailable.

You can check your loans and reservations libraries in bibliotek.dk. You can also ask for renewals and delete reservations.
You cannot request items that are not found in the database of bibliotek.dk. To do any such item, contact your local library.
