"The Black Keys har inviteret mange gæster med på dette album, og disse gæster sagde 'ja'. Det skyldes utvivlsomt bandets fremragende ry, at alle disse kunstnere straks var enige og bidrog til et album, der er både specielt og stærkt. Ohio Players (...) fanger straks ørerne og benene. Der er så meget at opdage - et mindeværdigt album".

"While it's easy to distinguish what each collaborator brings to the table, Ohio Players isn't disjointed: it's as coherent as a curated jukebox. Purists can always revisit their more stripped-down records and while Ohio Players may fall just short of the heights of their critical/commercial breakthrough period (Brothers, El Camino), The Black Keys, and all the musical guests, have a damn good time making an album that is once again close to that level".
