The impossible thing

On the cliffs of Yorkshire I 1926, men steal the eggs of the sea birds. The most beautiful are sold for large sums. Celie Sheppard finds an 'impossible' red egg, and it will forever alter the course of her. One hundred years later in Wales, Patrick Fort discovers his friend, Nick, and his mother tied up and robbed. The only thing missing is a scarlet egg.
