Im Hindemithschen Sinne jedoch angereichert mit Brillanz, Virtuosität, aber auch mit beseelt schöner Gesanglichkeit und lebendiger Musikalität. Ein musikantisches Vergnügen der Extraklasse, das von der Tontechnik adäquat eingefangen wurde".

"So (ton)schön das alles ist und von der wirklich meisterhaft musizierenden Solistin Sharon Kam und allen übrigen Künstlern ins Werk gesetzt wird - trotz oder gerade wegen aller Wohlproportioniertheit fehlt (mir) bei diesem "objektiven" Hindemith ganz subjektiv der genialisch "Biss der frühen Jahre"".

"Kam's beauty of tone and expressive understanding of a composer ... is audible throughout the Concerto (1947), in an account that is a match for any of her rivals' ... The couplings are, to my mind, even finer than the concerto ... Kam's understanding and rapport with her colleagues here, particularly pianist Enrico Pace, are manifestly complete ... I do not know of a stronger rival for the Quartet currently available".
