"Jo, man kan godt blande math med grindcore og få det til at fungere. Men at Pupil Slicer ligeledes får strejf af thrash, hardcore, stoner og numetal til at fungere i konteksten, gør dem en tand mere interessante end de fleste andre bands, der gør sig af med matematikken og grinden. Hvis Code Orange ikke var signet til Roadrunner og drømte om at stå øverst på festivalplakaterne, var Pupil Slicer den lyd, de for altid ville stræbe efter.
