"Britain's 70s rock supergroup reclaim their legacy: This collection of Humble Pie's output for A&M Records in the 70s - their recording career shorn of the first two Immediate-label albums - owes its existence to indefatigable drummer Jerry Shirley ... The bait for collectors, apart from the music's impressive remastering by Andy Pearce, will be a 14-track collection of rarities, five never before heard, liberated by British rock historian Steve Hammonds from the A&M archives ... It is hoped reissues of the missing albums from 1969 (...) will be curated by Shirley and Frampton in the near future. Until then, this superlative set, accompanied by an illustrated Chris Welch-written memoir, will do nicely".
