"... if her latest album The Devil In Me proves anything it's that you can take Suzi Quatro out of Detroit, but you'll never take Detroit out of Suzi. With a legacy that includes the MC5, The Stooges, the Amboy Dukes and others, the Motor City has always rocked harder and louder than most ... If the devil does have the best tunes, then Suzi Quatro is grabbing enough of them here".

'The Devil In Me' er måske her i Suzi Quatros efterår et af hendes bedste albums.

"This is the best record Quatro has made to date and a must-buy. She's a powerhouse performer and her voice sounds better than ever".

"Over 50 years into her career, Suzi Quatro could be forgiven for taking a break. And yet, last spring, staring down almost one hundred cancelled shows, her first instinct was not to put her feet up but to team up with her son Richard Tuckey on a new collection of songs as a follow-up to their recent collaboration on 2019's No Control. With songs referencing imprisonment, darkness and solitude, it's fair to say Quatro had the pandemic on her mind while pulling together 18th album The Devil in Me - but, unsurprisingly, her take on the isolation blues wears a hard rock sheen".
