"Ben Harper i nedbarberet format med nære, personlige sange ... Fine detaljer. Smil med alvor. Og omvendt. Snurrige betragtninger. I enkle, for det meste milde forklædninger med stille kor eller enkelt akkompagnement, og selvfølgelig gennem-musikalsk. Singer-songwriting med flere finesser end almindeligheder. Den måtte gerne have varet lidt længere".
