When you order materials through Bibliotek.dk information is stored in two places:
Information is handled in strict confidence by both DBC Digital and the libraries.
The library staff follow the rules of confidentiality with regards to information about your library use.
Mails between DBC Digital and the libraries with information concerning your order will be encrypted.
When you submit personal information via Bibliotek.dk the information is encrypted so only you and the receiving party can read them.
Bibliotek.dk uses security protocol (TLS - Transport Layer Security) which creates a secure connection between you as a user of Bibliotek.dk and DBC Digital as provider of Bibliotek.dk.

The TLS-function is stored in your browser. It is activated automatically when you type personal information while ordering materials.
The following information is stored by Bibliotek.dk (at DBC Digital):
Order information is sent to the library you have chosen.
You have the right to see the personal information we handle about you.
The right to correct information
You have the right to correct or modify incorrect information.
The right to erase information
In some cases you can get personal information erased before the time of automatic deletion.
The right to limited processing
In some cases you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. If you have the right to restricted processing, we can only process information – except storage – after having collected your consent, or in order to establish, ascertain or defend legal requirements, or in order to protect a person or important societal interests.
The right of objection
In some cases you have the right to make an objection to our legal handling of your personal information. You can also make an objection to your personal information being used in direct marketing.
