"Bandets medlemmer spiller flot det, de sætter sig for - med undtagelse af trommeslager Danny Wagner, der ikke rigtig formår at ramme særlig stærkt med sine mange fills. Desværre har Greta Van Fleet bare ikke sat sig for at spille nogle særlig interessante sange ... Hvis man absolut hungrer efter noget selvfed rockmusik i bedste 70'er-stil, har 'Anthem of the Peaceful Army' muligvis noget at byde på, men desværre er sangskrivningen generelt kaloriefattig, og Greta Van Fleets bombastiske lyd ender med at blive for meget af det gode".
