"Recorded in only seven days, the band was careful enough not to repeat the previous albums. BCC IV sounds bolder with heavy riffs, undeniable hooks, melodic flair and infectious choruses. Kevin Shirley's importance is huge by guiding the band into the right directions for the album's best interest, and the result is spectacular".

"As always, the pleasure of Black Country Communion is hearing seasoned players play; they have palpable chemistry and this is a format for them to flaunt their chops. That BCCIV has a greater range and sturdier songs than its immediate predecessor is merely a bonus, because they're instrumentally in fine fettle here".

"Black Country Communion's fourth full-length album is a rather cautious listen. The band seems to be testing the waters and making sure that they can still do this before they dive straight back into it. It doesn't have a lot of heavy hitting tracks, but the more subtle songwriting suggests that it may take a little extra time for this to really feel the full impact".

"Black Country Communion beviser med bandets fjerde album, at de er et helt igennem fremragende hard rock-band".
