"Feminist post-hardcore quartet Petrol Girls have been giving the patriarchy a much-needed kicking since forming in 2012. This second record mixes their trademark anger with hooks much catchier than these abrasively experimental songs have any right to be. A spoken-word intro and three interludes break up this album's frenzied screams and blistering guitars as Ren Aldridge spits out her contempt for the state of the world and the systems that perpetuate inequality and injustice within it".

"Fierce quartet Petrol Girls are punchy and pointed on new record Cut & Stitch ... Where Petrol Girls' 2016 debut Talk Of Violence spewed the band's feminism with angsty vitriol, they've now evolved to passionate protest that's more accessible".

"Vredt, feministisk post-hardcore-band ... dannet i London og med medlemmer fra Østrig, Litauen og Storbritannien ... Hvis du er til de hårdtslående lyde fra Refused, Gallows og At the Drive-in, vil du synes godt om Petrol Girls".
