"It feels like a clarion call to all the washed-out stoners out there looking for a colourful place to belong. THE SONIC DAWN are going to be blowing many minds, but its hard not to be smiling by the end of the record".

"The guys tried their best to represent all their sides on Enter the Mirage, all the while maintaining the polished production (which I still believe suits them best). In the end, it's a matter of taste what you prefer most from their output, whether succinct pop ditties or more expansive dreamy structures. Nevertheless, The Sonic Dawn sound rather fresh in a genre where most acts just don't bother stepping out of the shadows of their influences".

"Frontman Emil Bureau's voice, which though double-tracked lacks even a modicum of power, remains the group's weak point, as does their aversion to anything resembling an earworm. In an age where eras have become their own genres, Sonic Dawn need to do something to help differentiate themselves from their manifest influences, and casting lines without hooks certainly isn't helping matters".
