"It's best to take EP II and Skisser as what they are: detailed sketches, but ultimately not much more than early drafts. If anything, despite its indicator as a point of progress, EP II might possess more sonic missteps; the remix EP for Skisser offered far more dynamic settings for Boman's songwriting than what's on display here, proving that against tenser backgrounds, Boman's voice stands out as slight and startling. It's a direction worth exploring, even if EP II suggests that she doesn't plan on doing so; now that Boman's proven herself adept at exuding calm, her next effort could benefit from embracing stormier sounds".
