"Producer Youth has described the record as Wobble's "Miles Davis opus" and while that's maybe a mite fanciful, it's certainly a courageous contemporary fusion of afro-beat, jazz and polyrhythmic funk. It's wholly instrumental save for Aurora's sultry vocal turn on trailer single Cosmic Love, yet - with the exception of the disjointed Spheres, Spirals & Pyramids - the playing's crisp and disciplined and with Wobble's distinctive, dub-infused bass anchoring the whole caboodle, virtuosity rarely gets in the way of the groove".
