"Siobhan Miller is one of the best Scots traditional singers on the planet. This, her debut solo album, is a collection of contemporary songs, material that's relatively new musical territory for her. Four of the songs here were composed by Siobhan in collaboration with James Grant, front-man of the 1980s Glasgow rock/soul/funk band Love And Money. James Grant also produced the album, plays guitar and sings on it, and contributes three of his own songs ... The overall sound of the album is very Radio 2 - mellow folk-country ballads of the type that get showcased on Transatlantic Sessions ... I'd very much like to hear this material performed by a pared-down acoustic band, such as the fabulous Salt House, with whom Siobhan also sings".
