"Sonically, Dropkick Murphys do exactly what you'd assume given their name: folk-punk adjacent with sprinkles of Celtic punk thrown in. Listening to For The People feels like stepping into an Irish pub, pint in hand. Although they're from Boston, they present themselves as unequivocally Irish through and through ... I believe it's crucial to stand for something; standing for nothing makes you just as callous as the people who enforce harmful policies. The record steps back and honors each person's personal journey".
