"Travel the universe with the best tracks from Apollo 13, Avatar, Blade Runner, Gravity, Interstellar, Star Trek, Star Wars, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and The Mandalorian. John Williams has composed some of the greatest film scores of all time and his soundtracks for the Star Wars films are legendary. The Imperial March is one of the best known symphonic themes ever, it is also a prime example of classical music influencing film music as the composition draws from Chopin's Marche funèbre and Holst's The Planets. Shrouded Destiny is THE Star Wars fan film made by Shahbaz Sarwar with music by Danish composer Peter Due, brought to life by the Danish National Symphony Orchestra with haunting vocals by Steffen Bruun Rørvig and Christine Nonbo AndersenI See You from Avatar was nominated for Best Original Song at the 67th Golden Globes ... In this performance Tuva Semmingsen inspires with a soulful interpretation of the song. Concert orchestration is based on the original orchestration of the film soundtracks".

"Though it's available on CD and to stream/download, I'd recommend experiencing Galaxymphony II: Galaxymphony Strikes Back on Blu-ray, as it's a feast for the eyes as well as the ears. These artists really know how to put on a show, the lighting effects adding hugely to the filmed experience - musicians' faces glow and the singers quite literally glitter. Crowdpleasers from John Williams's Star Wars scores aside, the programmers curate a wide-ranging and sometimes surprising set list, from Elliot Goldenthal's Alien to Steven Price's Gravity. Vangelis's 'Rachel's Song' from Blade Runner - sung by Tuva Semmingsen - is one of many highlights".
