"En Attendant Ana are a Parisian indie quintet whose tightly focused melodies and energetic attack are fused with a curious blend of harmonic sophistication and wild abandon ... There are shades of classic Stereolab in En Attendant Ana's stylish analog tone and sizzling vintage organs, though their garage-pop aesthetic and spiky attack feels ultimately more human. Infectious in spirit and boasting numerous memorable songs, Juillet is a marvelous album and a great improvement on the group's debut".

"Parisian band En Attendant Ana play a distinct brand of jangly indiepop, the kind perfected in the '80s and '90s, mixing winsome lyrics, winsome trumpet, fuzzy organ and strummy guitars. There's a lot of mediocre music in the name of indiepop but, like the cardigan sweaters associated with a lot of it, En Attendant Ana wear it better than most ... Juillet is is an all-around better record than 2018's Lost and Found which, as that record was terrific, is good news and high praise. Need I mention they sing in English?".
