"Terakaft's fourth studio album defines a sound ever more independent of their primogenitors Tinariwen, showcasing a band who are deft exponents of the desert blues in their own right. For the first time the band have teamed up with producer Justin Adams (of Robert Plant, Tinariwen and JuJu fame) who is also credited with space guitar ... "Idja a Seman" is a brilliant slice of what this band can do. The distinctive use of two rhythm guitars, along with Adams' production, renders a track which evokes a campfire evening beneath starry desert skies ... It is the sound of a band on the cusp of maturity, testing new waters, if sometimes with a little trepidation. Justin Adams' production brings a real energy to the band and a collaborative approach which is yielding the rarest kind of fruit, the genuine and seamless fusion of disparate musical traditions".
