""From the Vault - L.A. Forum - Live in 1975" is a time capsule of the Rolling Stones in transition. Wood (who replaced Mick Taylor, who quit the Stones shortly before the 1975 tour) was not yet an official member of the Stones; he was "on loan" from the Faces. Wood's on-stage interactions with Richards had not yet developed into the easy and playful rapport they would have in subsequent years ... As for this concert's production values, the camera work, editing and lighting have a lot of rough edges that remind people of the technological limitations back then. Be prepared to see a lot of sharp cutaways and the stage bathed in red light for a good deal of the concert".
