"Ribera's second album [is] a labour of love and detail, beautifully arranged and produced by Jean Masicotte, the man she waited so long to work with. He provides the frame, but ultimately it's her songs and voice that are the foundation and real ornament. There's a deep, dark sensuality in her tones, a sense of longing that powers "Bad Again" and "Mars". There's Latin urgency behind "Reloges" and simmering French sensuality on the duet "Un Cygne La Nuit". Although the sound is full throughout, it's never crowded, and Ribera has a strong, left-field identity that shines through ... Everything here is strong ... A disc neatly steeped in beauty, one that repays being played many times, and definitely something much more that just entertainment".
