"Live albums often undersell their artist, but this proves an inviting, well-judged showcase".

"This specially recorded concert in Paris sees them team up with Lalla Badi, a 75-year-old woman described as the "Grande Dame" of Tamashek culture. Lalla opens and closes the set with a hypnotic chant named Tinde which is accompanied only minimally and the chant is a motif throughout the record. Elsewhere the band get on with doing what they do best with some excellent versions of classic songs ... Recorded in intimate surroundings and mixed expertly this record feels like Tinariwen "Unplugged" ... A must for any fan of the desert blues".
