"Though nowhere near as commercial as his next album, LA Turnaround, on which Mike Nesmith gave him West Coast carte blanche, Bert Jansch's eighth studio album, recorded while Pentangle were at each other's throats, is closer to his earlier work. Producer Danny Thompson, Fairport Convention drummer Dave Mattacks and Mary and Tony Visconti all joined in and there are notable performances of Northern folk standards Yarrow and Twa Corbies to enjoy while one marvels at the dexterity of the man's fingers and surrenders to his hypnotic lilt".

"Vurdering: Good" - "Timely reissue of Jansch's eighth (vintage 1972) studio set, rescued from obscurity and beautifully remastered. Boasting accompaniment from folk's aristocracy and sporting a classy tracklist including an unrivalled January Man, this represents one of Jansch's finest hours".
