"Gardots flair for bossanova med tropiskbrasilianske følelser og percussion flyder blødt igennem hele 'Sunset in the Blue' (...) Gardot siger, albummet blev anderledes end ventet, fordi musikerne - blandt andet The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - måtte optages på distance ...
