Over the decades since their parents died, siblings Sidsel, Ea and Niels have drifted apart, retreating in order to protect their most vulnerable parts. But single mother Sidsel's last-minute work trip to London, site of past transgressions, and Ea's chance visit to a San Francisco clairvoyant, force the trio to reckon with their shared history and complicated inheritance.
