"For udenforstående kan det være svært at forklare og begrunde en anbefaling af Hawkwind og 'The Machine Stops'. Men måske, hvis man er glad for progressiv rock som Pink Floyd, men synes at alt fra og med 'The Wall' var noget kommercielt bras, og samtidig er bare en smule glad for punk og for Depeche Mode, så kunne Hawkwinds 'The Machine Stops' eventuelt være en aflytning værd".
