Musically, the only left turn arrives in the amiably rocking new song "I Think You Might Like It" -- its guitars sound randier than the rest of the record but that's certainly on a relative scale -- otherwise these are songs you know by heart".

"This is like being stuck in a department store with all the clichéd songs one after the other, all sounding very much like it should have been recorded in the mid 80's too ... The songs are all in a serious vein, perhaps they have visions of us all putting it on during our Christmas turkey ... What does come across, in songs such as 'Silent Night' is that Olivia Newtown-John is actually a very good singer".
