"Transatlantic - das meint in diesem Fall Musik aus und über Amerika, vom US-Immigranten Strawinsky über den "Ureinwohner" Copland bis zum amerikanisch-israelischen Komponisten Avner Dorman. Im Mittelpunkt stehen zudem der Flötist Statis Karapanos und die Sopranistin Chen Reiss, und es sind diese beiden Solisten, denen die stärksten Momente zu verdanken sind: Reiss in Dormans Liedzyklus "Nofim" ... und Karapanos in eine ungemein klangschönen, sensibel ausgeleuchteten Interpretation von Takemitsus "Towards the sea II"".
