"This budget 1971 double album from progressive folkies, recorded in the grassy surrounds of a Devon farm, gets an elegant re-release. It's an ethereal mix of gentle vocals and tinkling guitars but given an understated, unusual rocking edge thanks to delicate bluesy piano ... Gorgeous, but one has always felt they might have gone farther, even the singles charts, if they'd been less generous, focusing on the catchiest tracks with a single album".
