Blues blast magazined. 11. Sep. 2015ByByJohn Mitchelld. 11. Sep. 2015" ... a great piece of soul and New Orleans-infused blues ... The band plays well in support but this one is all about the voice and Danielle nails it, proving herself to be one of the strongest female singers on the current scene. Recommended!".Read review
No depressiond. 15. Sep. 2015ByByBob Gottliebd. 15. Sep. 2015"This is solid chunky disc that brings that added dimension of what New Orleans is to music and to her. She assimilated down to the core and it comes through. She has always played the blues but now it is the funky blues with that extra added edge ... The songwriting is strong and between Stanton [Moore] and Danielle there is a very solid foundation for the others to use as a spring board from which to reach for the top floors. If you saw Trampled Under Foot you know as solid a footing as she lays down she also is quite skilled at using the Bass Guitar as a lead instrument. Suffice it to say that the playing here is way excellent as all the musicians are use to the spotlight and shine when in it".
