"It is the orchestra which increasingly dominates with some of Ruders's most expressively immediate music, the vocal part is hardly less memorable [Offred suite] ... The other work making its recorded debut is the Third Symphony (2006) ... The only caveat might be the modest playing time ... but it hardly detracts from the excellence of this disc overall".
