"Thomas Augustine Arne suffers from his greatest success: he is almost exclusively known for his song Rule Britannia ... A recording of Arne's concertos is welcome, as he is an underrated composer. These concertos are excellent stuff, and Szadejko makes that crystal clear with his interpretation. He is an outstanding organist, and delivers imaginative interpretations. He effectively explores the possibilities of the organ. The orchestra does a fine job, and overall the balance between organ and orchestra is satisfying".

"Instrumental music formed only a small part of his [Arne's] output ... These five works, dated to 1751 ... are not all equally well suited to the organ and sit better with harpsichord or even possibly piano ... The soloist and conductor Andrzej Szadejko's fast movements can be rhythmically unstable, and it's only in the slow ones that the qualities of this historic organ at the Church of St John in Gdańsk can be properly appreciated".
