Instead of opening a door onto a secret history, it adds color and texture to an already well-known story: Dylan's late-'60s sojourn in Nashville, the period in which he recorded John Wesley Harding and Nashville Skyline, capped off by his performance on The Johnny Cash Show in 1969-his first television appearance in nearly five years".
