"The collected footnotes from the Baltimore band's decade-long career plays almost as smoothly as a proper album, showing the meticulous construction behind some of Beach House's spells".

"Songs like White Moon and Norway were previously available as iTunes sessions but are remixed and augmented for this release. The oldest song is Rain In Numbers a four-track gem that - despite an out-of-tune piano playing a melody oddly reminiscent of Coldplay's Clocks, and what honestly sounds like someone eating a pack of crisps - really does give a flavour of the proto-Beach House sound from 2005. Despite being a compilation, this collection has an immaculate flow - like all Beach House albums".
