"This live album is culled from a show late in David's Bowie's 1974 tour. It's heavy on material from Diamond Dogs and Aladdin Sane and finds a drug-addled Bowie in a moment of transition".

"The second leg of the Diamond Dogs tour saw Bowie's musical director Michael Kamen drop out and a change of personnel that reflected the star of the show's growing interest in US soul - cue the considerable influence of Luther Vandross. The result is a more energised, funkier take on the set familiar from David Live.Bowie's performance veers between spirited and swashbuckling takes on the likes of Sweet Thing and Knock On Wood, and sounding on the verge of collapse on Big Brother, rather suggesting that he was relying on some artificial energy at the time.Still when it's good, it's very good and fans will need this. Now let's hope tapes emerge of the line-up who backed him from October-December 1974, the shows that would see his soul fascination flourish".
