"A belting garage-rock odyssey that revels in its own weirdness ...".

"And so it goes, for a whopping 19 tracks, continuing on the path of a patchwork adventure of sound. Despite the rather overwhelming number of songs (not to mention the 75-minute runtime), the album manages to not fall apart. Though it is a constant flip-flop of energy, with most heavier tracks followed by a gentler take, the dynamic shifts are what keep Goblin going".

"That spirit makes the album's 19-track run time feel more like a welcome abundance of goodies than an attempt to make some grand artistic statement; you get the sense that Segall wouldn't mind too much if you chose to shuffle the tracks or take it a few songs at a time rather than all at once".
