"Following three superb albums for John Peel's Dandelion label, Bridget St John recorded 'Jumblequeen' for Chrysalis in 1974. While it featured two of her finest compositions - the baroque "Song For The Waterden Widow" and the drifting hazy "Long Long Time" - it did little commercially and she moved to New York, becoming a fixture on the underground folk circuit there and simultaneously disappearing beneth the radar back home. 'Jumblequeen' makes an appearance here alongside two discs containing a curious but engaging hodgepodge of jazz, folk and pop".
