"It Could Happen To You is as beguiling as any of [Chet Baker's] better known Pacific Jazz vocal sets, and a much higher quality recording. On "I'm Old Fashioned" he's crooning right in front of you, the breeze of Philly Joe Jones's brushed drums over his left shoulder and Kenny Drew's piano over his right. The key of "My Heart Stood Still" puts his voice in the vicinity of buttered velvet. He takes a muted solo here but doesn't play on every track. Occasionally he scats a solo. Crystalline remastering and the beautiful original sleeve make for a treat".
