"An old-school singer with a blues orchestra: the notion seems almost archaic, like something from the Chitlin Circuit a lifetime ago, but the singer is the accomplished and versatile John Németh, the setlist - all originals, apart from Lowell Fulson's "Three O'Clock Blues" - thoughtfully conceived, and the nine-piece band as tight as Tom Wolfe's sock suspenders".

"This 2022 disc is actually their first studio release - a slightly different approach to unveling albums, but there's no shortage of goodies here, and the timing seems to be just right ... The tunes all pack a big band punch in a combo-size setting ... The entire album is an enticing nod to nostalgia, with a vintage, '50s retro feel. Németh's vocal style is somehow reminiscent of the passion and energy that Boz Scaggs sang with during his early Columbia Records days".
