"If you like your she-pop polished and perky then this maybe isn't for you, but if it's gritty, groovy dancers you're after then this is a punchy little package, whether you plump for the 25-track CD or the vinyl option (which contains the first 12 tracks of the CD edition). Both are delights, but as if you expected anything less".

"Smashing girl group sounds from the Parlophone, HMV and Columbia labels: In 1966, She Trinity, a four-piece comprising three Brits and an American, went into the studio with producer Mickie Most and recorded their version of The Crickets' "I Fought The Law". Ace year-zero she-punk, it's widely acknowledged as the blueprint for The Clash's version and is highly sought-after. As are the original 45s by this fab compilation's LP cover star Julie Driscoll and the CD cover star Billie Davis".
