Hvis man tror at der har indsneget sig en lille følsomhed, når man hører "Somewhere I belong", den første storhitter fra "Meteora", går man galt i byen. For hvorfor ændre opskriften på noget, der har solgt i millioner af eksemplarer? Med andre ord er der ikke noget nyt under solen hos nu-metal-genrens største kommercielle succes, Linkin Park. Her er rå guitarhooks, hvid middelklasse-rap, programmerede beats og et omkvæd, der råbes ud under et stormende hav af guitarer. Ungerne - de elsker det.
