"Purists may sniff, and there is an irritating hipster whiff about the twentysomething Durham kids with their pinky rings and catsuits, fashion equivalents of the rattling rehearsal space treble in their audio mix. But their heartfelt mastery of old-school R&B, blues and Hawaiian guitar is too much fun to dismiss and their third album showcases some knockout songwriting".
