"Throughout the record, the instrumentals are polished and the production is sharp, with Tecca reaching some level of the infectiousness he's capable of with his fluid flow on "Royal Rumble" and the catchy hooks of the Skrillex-assisted "Selection." By and large, however, Virgo World tends to feel listless and uninspired. Lil Tecca's rapping is proficient but ends up feeling hollow on many of the tracks, leading the overstuffed album to run out of stream early on. "Ransom" was so heavy on charm, excitement, and listenability that it suggested Tecca had an abundance of personality that he was just waiting for a chance to deliver. That might still be true, but it doesn't happen on Virgo World".

"On the 18-year-old New York rapper's debut album, a pocketful of catchy melodies and bubbly rhythms don't make up for a lack of anything interesting to say".
