"Weird Sister-- a deeply passionate, impossibly noisy twee record-- just feels like the sort of thing you spend months and years with, not days and weeks, poring over every little detail, memorizing each scrappy hook. "Det walisiske band med det fiffigt ironiske navn har fremstillet en nøjagtig replika af britisk støjindiepop anno starthalvfemserne.Albummet Weird Sister har ublu melodiske vers, som med naive dreng/ pige-harmonier og kaotisk utight trommespil fortæller om grov vold og puppy love. For så at skyde tyggegummiboblen til blods med sømpistoler af feedback. Her ved man aldrig, om der er tis i lemonadeflasken. Det er repeteret indsparkning af allerede åbne døre udført med stor kærlighed og nydelse hver gang".
