"25 Trips shows that what music looks and sounds like for Sierra Hull from here on, is only limited by her own sense of adventure. Listeners new and old can take heart that no matter what, she certainly seems to be at peace with trusting herself to figure things out as they come".

"Listening to this album it is easy to see why Sierra Hull has won so many awards, an exhilarating listen that is grounded in her bluegrass roots, yet often goes off into interesting musical avenues".

"You hear plenty of her great work here but don't kiss this off as a bluegrass album because it is far more ranging. Hull says, "One of the things I most enjoyed ... was getting to show the wide variety of music I love ... What really matters to me is trusting myself to be who I am, and just putting my voice and my heart out there in the most sincere way I can." Wow! She's done all of that and more. This is highly recommended listening well beyond just the bluegrass aficionados".

"From cosmo-bluegrass to quirky pop, this album is a real trip! Sierra Hull's voice is as sparkling clear as a glacial stream tinged with just the right shade of Tennessee twang. Her mandolin rings with virtuosic command befitting the first woman voted Mandolin Player of the Year at the International Bluegrass Music Association Awards in 2016 (and in 2017 and 2018). Along the same trajectory of 'Weighted Mind', her previous Rounder release, '25 Trips' situates Sierra Hull in a realm of songwriting occupied by Alison Krauss, Kacey Musgraves and other artists, where poetic introspection yields seriously worthy results".
