"It is a beautiful album of dub and chilled out dance-music with interesting bits of other-music from different-kitchens seamlessly woven in ... It's Youth and Wobble doing what they do best and sound-tracking the downtime during the run-up to the impending apocalypse ... Apocalyptic it aint, but magnificent it is. An Acid Dub Punk gathering of like-minded talents and originals making music to soothe and groove to".

"Post-punk jazz titans' clash brings blissful cosmic pop: It's Wobble's unmistakable geometric bass patterns which anchors these 11 collaborative tracks, but where outings with his latest Invaders Of The Heart line-up often veer into skronk-jazz, here, behind that forbidding title, a sunny pop mentality prevails: the Hollie Cook-cooed "Breaking Shells" recalls pan-globalist melody explosions such as "Becoming More Like God", from Wobble's mid-'90s Island era; "Rise Me Up" (sung by Blue Pearl) comparably nails upful reggae. Instrumental tunes are more exploratory: "Rhino" ploughs through a thunderously filthy funk groove, while, equally fittingly, "Lunar Dawn" opens into a space jam that's both propulsive and revelatory. As such, Acid Punk Dub Apocalypse presents the dream soundtrack for excited drives to 2020's summer festivals".
