"It's clear that in hindsight, critical reappraisal and re-evaluation has fully vindicated Andy's decision to push the boat out and take those risks in the first place. Dazzle Ships has thus finally earned its belated and much-deserved due as a minor unsung masterpiece, and indeed a very much unconventional recording which, retrospectively at least, seems far ahead of its time".
