"Nelson and Cannon mix up the musical styles, with a brace of cuts that hark back to the ballroom Western Swing of Nelson's youth. Willie rattles off his lines with trademark insouciance, as much spoken as sung, and still plays an acoustic guitar with jazzy panache. What a legend".

"I forbindelse med sin 85-års fødselsdag gør den potrygende countryhipppie (...) status ... Stemmen er mere rytme og timing end skønsang, der er godt med jazzede ekskursioner og westernswing, men mellem kommentarer til samtiden ("It's like I'm in some foreign country" ) og muntre sange om demens ("I been crazy all the time" ) synger Nelson mest skægt og klogt om livet i simple sange.
